Heather’s Departing Highlights

I came across this Bible verse the other day, and it has become my desire for our trip. We leave in a fewhours, so I don’t have time to write more now. Lord willing, I will be able to give an update of sorts when we return.

“For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” II Cor. 4:5-6

    Heather, many blessing to you as you all are probably on your way! We’ve been praying for you all that you’ll get the most out of this trip, and not just skim the surface of things there in the Dominican Republic – it would be so easy…
